Canadian Rockies Exploration
A few hours west of Calgary provides some pretty epic mountain scenery, especially in winter. Some places to check out in the region are Lake Minnewanka, Moraine Lake, and the drive on Icefields Parkway to the Athabasca Glacier. Be sure to have a AWD/4WD for the icy roads and be prepared for weather.
